A self-loathing pushover with mommy issues is forced to parent a grieving 7-year-old after the mysterious death of her mother.
The feature-length version of our SXSW grand jury nominated short film. The screenplay was a finalist in the FinalDraft Big Break Screenplay Competition, the Creative Screenwriting Unique Voices Competition, and the Emerging Screenwriter’s Suspense Screenplay Competition. CALL ME MOMMY made it to the second round of consideration for both the Sundance Development track, the ScreenCraft Film Fund, and was trending on the Black List last quarter.
The film has been optioned by Six Missing Chairs and Iris Arc Pictures and we will be going into production later this year.
