A mockumentary sketch about a high-fashion merkin brand and the bizarre women behind it.

We are just VERY passionate about elevating merkins, okay? The majority of the dialogue in this film was improvised. We treated shooting like you would a real docu-series episode. You can imagine the blooper-reel. Such fun.

A bride mid-meltdown, an unhinged wedding party, and a wedding date with a very full bladder all cross paths in the Bridal Suite bathroom.

We shot BRIDAL SUITE on 16mm Eastman Kodak Company film for the Atlanta Film Festival 100 ft of Film competition in one day. In order to shoot with the limitations of 100 ft of film we rehearsed and filmed the whole first part of the day digitally. We made adjustments through playback and dialing everything from blocking to camera movement so when it was time to go to film we.were.ready. Such fun.

The approach: a covid-safe environment without any other crew. The message: imagining the day we could all leave our houses again and actually go on vacation. Developed the creative for a two-year YouTube campaign to Helzberg that was crafted to set Helzberg apart from the crowd in the Jewelry brand market with the use of comedy. In order to create a series that had an unlimited runway we created a repeatable setup led by a host named “Kevin”. Kevin is a relentlessly positive, hopeless romantic who takes his job as a Helzberg associate very seriously. Kevin seeks to find the perfect engagement ring at the right price for every customer and goes the extra mile (s) by helping them propose in ridiculous and incredible ways. I had the pleasure of researching guests and topics, writing episodes, writing jokes, and working with the host and EP on interview capture. Our host was Mangesh Hattikudur from Mental Floss and the show featured guests like Jim Gaffigan, Lauren Conrad, Brooke Burke, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, and Mark Peacock.

Okay this was a blast. I got to combine my love of comedy, dance, and dogs for this fun music video by the Holden Brothers. I was approached to help build the creative and develop the idea into a product. From concept to delivery, we had a LOT of laughs.

This one was wild. The producer’s of this show wanted an experienced improvisor/comedian to come on as Brene Brown’s stand-in. The purpose? Improvise a comedy set to the rhythm of Brene’s power-point slides in order to rehearse camera movements and lighting and keep the crowd and crew entertained. I definitely did not teach anyone anything about Brene’s incredible work, but, I definitely gave some bad advice. So that’s something.

I was the unit production manager on the Netflix film, MUSTANG ISLAND, a feature that we shot for less than 20K…in which I also acted. It was a wild ride. Ask me about the hurricane floods and the alligator in the front yard.
