I am an award-winning queer writer, director, actor, and comedian based in Melbourne. I am silly for hire and for hire I will be silly. I specialize in comedy and have a decade of experience in scripted and branded content.
I have a Master of Screenwriting from the University of Melbourne, Victorian College of Arts where I am now a teacher. My film CALL ME MOMMY won BEST COMEDY at the Academy Award Qualifying festival Hollyshorts, BEST COMEDY at Cannes Indie Shorts Awards, BEST SCREENPLAY at Mirada Corta, the “NoBudge” AUDIENCE AWARD at Nitehawk Film Festival and was nominated for a Grand Jury Award at SXSW 2023. The film is a proof of concept for a feature film script that was trending on the Black List at the end of 2022. The feature film has since been optioned and I am attached to direct. Yay.
I have been a finalist in the Final Draft Big Break competition, the Creative Screenwriting Unique Voices Competition, and was in the second round of consideration for both the Sundance development track and the ScreenCraft Film fund. I am a full member of the Australian Writers’ Guild and I perform with THE REMIX at the Improv Conspiracy on Saturday nights.
In Austin, I was a co-host of the iconic, long-running comedy show GOOD FIGHT at Fallout Theater and performed at the OOB 2019 Just For Laughs showcase. I acted in MUSTANG ISLAND on Netflix with Macon Blair, received a Drive-In Academy Award from Joe Bob Briggs for my performance in SCARE PACKAGE, and wore a very silly wig in CRUNCH TIME.
I was on the creative team for the beloved podcast, HUMANS GROWING STUFF, nominated for a Webby, a Shorty, and winner at iHeart Radio’s Podcast Awards. I am a creative at Banter, where I write and develop commercials, music videos, and podcasts.
Let’s gab, etc. Soft smile.
